A problem with fabricating glass microfluidics is that the bonding methods required to join the glass often involves treatment with aggressive chemicals, high temperatures, or other methods that destroy biological material. This paper proposes a simple method: clean the glass surface with a detergent, place water droplets onto the surface, and finally apply pressure using binding clips for 6 hours. Through this technique, the authors have achieved a pressure endurance of over 600kPa.
