Radpid test for early detection of chronic kidney to enable preventive treatments

This low cost and rapid test for chronic kidney disease developed by Dr. Francis Lin and team at University of Manitoba has the potential to enable early detection of kidney disease. In conjunction with preventive treatments for chronic kidney disease this test has the potential to prevent the disease from progressing. This would make both quality of life improvements for patients in terms of preventing dialysis and also save healthcare resources to be used elsewhere.
