Researchers have developed a new cost-effective, high-throughput microfluidic device fabrication protocol. Parafilm film is shaped and laminated with transparent thin PET film. The method can even be used to make multi-layer circuits. The total cost of the cutting and lamination machine is less than $200 and no expensive equipment, chemical processes or UV treatment is required.
